The calf muscle is called the triceps surae because it is actually made up of THREE different muscles: the medial & lateral gastrocnemius & the soleus. Injury or weakness to any of these calf muscles can therefore necessitate specific exercises to target the relevant muscles.

🎯Calf raises with 1st toe off the edge of a step/weight plate
🎯Pulses with 1st toe off the edge of a step/weight plate
🎯Hopping on the spot with a band pulling at 45 degrees posterior medial
