Most health professionals are guessing when it comes to running assessment. There's a better way.
The MAT Running Course is a complete, evidence-informed framework for data-driven running assessment — created and taught by Sports Chiropractor and Running Coach Luke Nelson. Designed for physios, chiropractors, exercise scientists and coaches who want to identify the root cause of injury, reduce recurrence, and become the practitioner every runner in their area trusts.

WHAT CHANGES AFTER THIS COURSE

Identify the root cause of common running injuries rather than treating symptoms

YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Luke Nelson created the MAT Running Course after more than a decade of working with runners in clinical practice — and finding that most available training simply didn't translate to the assessment table.
Luke is a Sports Chiropractor, Certified Running Coach, and Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach with a Masters in Sports Science. He has worked with runners at every level — from recreational athletes to competitive performers — and developed this course as the practical, evidence-informed resource he wished had existed when he started.
As a marathon runner and Ironman triathlete, Luke understands the sport from both sides. Everything in this course has been built from real clinical experience — tested, refined, and proven to work in practice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need expensive equipment to apply what I learn?
No. The course covers both high-tech and low-tech approaches. Video analysis can be done with a smartphone. The RunScribe technology is introduced as an optional enhancement — not a requirement.
Is this relevant if I mostly see recreational runners?
Absolutely. The framework applies to runners at all levels — from weekend warriors to competitive athletes. If they run, this course is relevant.
How long do I have access to the online course?
Lifetime. Once you enrol, the content is yours to revisit anytime.
Is the Face-to-face course the same content as online?
Yes, both formats cover the same curriculum. The face-to-face adds hands-on practice and live feedback from Luke directly.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, the online course is available in 3 instalments. Contact us for team discounts if enrolling multiple staff from the same clinic.
