Phoebe Henry - Chiropractor

Whilst studying at RMIT, Phoebe developed a passion for helping active individuals through Chiropractic care. This led her to complete extra courses in rehabilitation and active care, including SFMA, ENHANCE Running, MAT assessment, and is currently completing the ICSC (Internationally Certified Sports Chiropractor). She is passionate about getting her patients off the treatment table, back into movement, and successfully back doing what they love as soon as possible!

Phoebe is an avid learner and finds enjoyment in continuous education. She regularly attends seminars, and was awarded Honours 1st Class for her research project through RMIT University, studying the effect of hip abductor weakness on running gait.

Phoebe has a strong clinical interest in the treatment of sporting injuries and has worked with various sporting teams and associations around Victoria, including footballers, the VFUA and cricketers. She has also traveled interstate to provide Chiropractic care at sporting events, and in 2018 traveled to India to provide Chiropractic care to the surrounding communities of Udaipur.

Phoebe understands both the physical and mental demands that are required of athletes. She grew up as a competitive gymnast and acrobat, competing at both a state and national level from a young age (favorite apparatus was beam!). These days, Phoebe is a keen runner and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and hiking in her spare time.

In 2018, Phoebe was honoured to be awarded a Student Scholarship through The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic for outstanding contributions to Sports Chiropractic. Phoebe also serves as a Vice-Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Commission for The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. She is a member of Sports Medicine Australia, Sports Chiro Australia. The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic and Australian Chiropractic Association.
